About Ms. Brittni Butler

Ms. Brittni Butler’s passion for dance began at the young age of 4, and it has shaped her life ever since. She has an extensive background in performance and leadership, having been a dedicated member of several dance teams, including the Port Gibson Middle and High School Cheerleading team, the Port Gibson High School Wavettes, the D-Gurl Dance Team, the Upward Bound Dance Team, Alcorn State’s Dance Distinction, and the White Hall Missionary Baptist Church Praise Dancers.

After her time at Alcorn State, Ms. Butler took her talents to Dallas, Texas, where she coached the DFW Dancin' Divas, followed by a role as Assistant Coach for the Kentucky Dancing Divas in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. With her deep passion for dance and nurturing spirit, she founded the Clarksville Southern Belles on March 13, 2023.

Though the Southern Belles is still a young team, it has already made a significant impact on the lives of many children, inspiring them through dance, discipline, and community. Ms. Butler continues to dedicate herself to teaching and mentoring the next generation of dancers, instilling confidence and a love for the art in every step.

Southern History

Our Story

The Southern Belles Dance Team was founded in March 2023 with just 9 dedicated members. From the very beginning, our goal was to create a space where young dancers could grow, learn, and express themselves through the art of dance. What started as a small group has quickly blossomed into a vibrant and dynamic team, now encompassing a large and diverse group of talented girls.

Since our inception, we’ve seen tremendous growth, not just in numbers, but in skill, confidence, and spirit. Our members have developed not only as dancers but as individuals, building strong friendships and a sense of community along the way. The Southern Belles have become a family, united by a shared love for dance and a commitment to excellence.

We are proud of how far we’ve come in such a short time, and we are excited for the future as we continue to inspire and empower more young girls to reach their full potential. Every new member that joins helps us grow stronger, and together, we continue to leave a lasting impact on our community.
